Seaworks Maritime Museum

Seaworks is a developing maritime precinct, focusing on the promotion of maritime history associated with the Port of Williamstown and the early settlement of Victoria.  The site engages the public in interactive and educational activities through recreation, tourism and leisure activities. Located on Williamstowns waterfront, at 82 Nelson Place, it offers Events, a permanent Maritime Exhibition, the Pirates Tavern, Event spaces, Function Venues, Casual Berthing and is a home for visiting Tall Ships

Visit and be part of the development of Williamstowns  Maritime Heritage Site. Arrive by car, train or ferry and enjoy Seaworks and other Williamstown features and activities.

The Collection of  of maritime and industrial historical  items is located in the Nelson Room and  is now ready for visiting.Open  on Sundays from 11am to 3pm. We  will be pleased to show you the heritage sheds and The Morgue and to talk about our vision. Enter  Seaworks from Nelson Place or Ann St.

We will also open by appointment for visiting groups. Please call 0417 292 021 to make a time. We are dependent on Volunteers for open hours and will welcome  offers to take up that role.

There is a $5 entry fee to visit the Collection.
