Williamstown’s attractive main commercial precinct is located along Ferguson Street and Douglas Parade where you’ll find beautiful boutiques, friendly cafes and stores for all yours needs and desires. Around the corner in Nelson Place you’ll find historic buildings which are now restaurants, hotels and galleries, the beautiful Commonwealth Reserve and a stunning view of Melbourne CBD over the bay.

CAR

Williamstown is approximately 15min from the Melbourne CBD via the West Gate Freeway.

TRAIN & BUS

Williamstown is a 30min train journey from Flinders Street Station and is the last station on the Williamstown Line.  Trains stop at three stations in the Williamstown area: North Williamstown, Williamstown Beach and Williamstown.  You may be required to change trains at Footscray or Newport.  Trains operate between Newport and Williamstown every 10min during the day on Monday to Friday.

On late evenings and weekends trains will operate between Williamstown and Newport only with a connecting train at Newport.  Trains then operate to Flinders Street, operating via the City Loop on weekends.  Evening and weekend services operate every 20 to 30min.

FERRY

Ferries leave from Berth 1, Southgate and depart daily at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm. The trip takes approximately 1hr.
